Conducts annual review and audit of the BASIS Ahwatukee Boosters’ books in May every year. No accounting background required.
FUN Treats Volunteers
Bring a little joy to our students selling and serving FUN treats during lunch a little less than once per month (7 to 8 times during the school year) on Wednesdays! FUN Treats Volunteers work with the FUN Treats Chairperson. Two shifts are available from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM or from 11:45 AM until 1:30 PM on Wednesdays (a little less than once per month). This is a fun opportunity to see students during lunch.
Hospitality Coordinators
Help organize and host monthly treats (coffee, breakfast, lunch, etc) throughout the year (August-April) for BASIS Ahwatukee teachers and staff.
International Night… A Celebration of Heritages
Chairpersons recruit BASIS Ahwatukee parents to showcase their heritage by providing food samples and an activity (craft or game) that represents their nationality; collaborate with BASIS Ahwatukee foreign language and music departments to provide cultural performances; invite students to perform.
Lunch Volunteer
Lunch Volunteers set up Boosters lunch tables prior to our catered lunch deliveries, receive the catered lunch delivery, serve prepacked catered lunches to students and staff members, and help clean up the Boosters lunch tables after all lunches have been served. Ideally Lunch Volunteers are available one day per week, or every other week, from 9:50 AM until 1:10 PM. Half-shifts are also available from 9:50am – 11:30am and 11:30am – 1:10pm. We appreciate all Lunch Volunteers who can volunteer for 1 or more hours each week to support the Boosters Lunch Program!
On-Call Volunteer
Do you want to volunteer and support your school? Do you have a hectic schedule and can’t commit for any particular opportunity at this moment? This opportunity is great for those who would like to volunteer for any events, if it works with their schedule.
Science Night
For science lovers, this is the committee for you! Organize an array of exhibitors and displays that will open our students’ eyes to the fascinating world of science.
Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week
For one week at the beginning of May, plan a variety of treats/meals/activities to express how grateful we are to have the teachers and staff at BASIS Ahwatukee! We want your new, fun, and surprising ideas to say “thank you” to the teachers and staff.
Technology Volunteer
Use your technology skills to maintain and improve the Booster website and support the Booster hardware (laptops, tablets).
